The synopsis must be attractive enough to catch the nerve of the publisher. A publisher will be extremely interested to publish the content that incurs profits. They know the depth of the market and what kind of books satisfy the expectations of the readers. They always look for a fresh, plagiarism free content with a unique writing style. So, be sure before submitting the content that it matches the required criteria.

The traditional ones set their own rules of printing, marketing, sales, profit sharing and providing royalty. Some might offer you an advance payment and some might keep a few conditions to be fulfilled before paying anything in monetary terms.
